God morning from The Garden!

If you study God’s Word you will know that Jesus was 100% human and 100% God.  This is hard to explain, but never the less, it is true.

I have been watching the TV series “The Chosen.”  I have laughed and cried at the many scenes that are presented.  But what has touched me the most is the way Christ is portrayed as warm, witty, caring, and wise.  We read about Jesus turning the water into wine at the wedding at Cana.  We know this was His first miracle.  But we don’t read about the wedding itself.  “The Chosen” brings out the wedding preparation, the celebration, and the friendships Jesus and Mary have made through His growing years. The writer and director Dallas Jenkins takes the scripture passages and presents a story line to help others feel and understand the mission of Christ.

I sometimes realize that I stress the fact that Jesus was God.  I then, may try to underestimate what He actually went through to take my sins to the cross.  He 100% lived; He100% suffered; and He 100% died from this world of sin.

But the good news is that He 100% left the grave, ascended unto heaven, and awaits our time to join Him in glory.

Let not your hearts be troubled.  You believe in God, believe also in me……..  I go to prepare a place for you, and if I go and prepare a place, I will come again and receive you unto myself that where I am there you may be also.”  John 14:1,3.

This news makes me smile.  It makes me realize that life is a journey filled with blessings and sadness.  It is a journey that leads us to the Christ who is 100% God.  I’m glad to be taking this journey with you.

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
