Good morning fro The Garden!

The Pharisees had all the knowledge of the law; they practiced obeying the law daily; they had every reason to believe in Christ as the Son of God; yet they rejected Him.

“In the same way the chief priests and the teachers of the law mocked him. ‘He saved others……but he can’t save himself. Let this Christ this King of Israel come down from the cross that we may see and believe’ ” Mark 15:31-32. They needed proof.

The simple words of the thief on the cross were “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.” Luke 23:42.

Notice that the thief on the cross did not say, “if you come into your kingdom…” He showed true belief in who Jesus was. Our deeds don’t save us. Our faith in Christ does. It is never too late to turn to Christ.

The beautiful words of Christ from the Cross were “Today thou shalt be with me in paradise.” Luke 23:43.

If we turn to Christ early, our lives are more useful and productive. but even those who repent and believe in the last moment will spend eternity with Christ.

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
