Good morning from The Garden!

I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favor to men of skill; But time and chance happens to them all.” Ecclesiastes 9:11.

The book of Ecclesiastes explains what usually happens in a sinful, imperfect world. Men of knowledge are not always listened to; the best does not always come out on top; or the good does not always receive rewards.

Life is not always predictable. Life is not always fair. We live in an imperfect world, but we serve a Perfect God.

Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when Perfection comes, the imperfect disappears…....” 1 Corinthians 13:8-10.

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
