Good morning from The Garden

Give us this day our daily bread” Matthew 6:11.

In the middle of the model prayer, Jesus reminds us to ask Him for our daily needs. Bread symbolizes our necessities, not our wants or desires. It is hard for us left on our own to know the difference.

By praying this daily, we are acknowledging that God is our sustainer and provider. We are not to become so self-sufficient that we think we do all things by ourselves.

We must pause each day and say, “Lord, give me what I need and help me control my wants.”

When we seek God’s guidance, He then can control our attitudes and meet our needs

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
