Good morning from The Garden!

I usually laugh when my husband  says, “Never do today what you can put off until tomorrow.”  He may say these words, but he certainly never lives by this rule.  But , I think, I am really guilty of putting off that which I need to do now.  Maybe you are, too.

The Apostle Paul had the same problem:

“For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out……So I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me….” Romans 7:18b, 21.

Can you relate to this scripture? I sure can. There always seems to be a very good excuse for my neglecting something that I need to do for others. The sin of procrastination leads to the sin of omission.

Our good intentions will never make a difference in the world around us unless they give birth to honorable action.

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
