Henry Ford failed and went broke five times before he finally succeeded.
Winston Churchill failed sixth grade. He did not become Prime Minister of England until he was 62, and then only after a lifetime of defeats and setbacks. His greatest contributions came when he was a “senior citizen.”
Noah was 600 years old when the floodwaters covered the earth. For 120 years before that momentous occasion he was busy building an ark on dry ground.
Sarah was ninety years old when she had Isaac, the son God had promised Abraham.
“So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what He has promised.” Hebrews 10:36.
It is so easy to just give up!
But instead, you should keep your goals in line with God’s goals for your life and then pick yourself up from your failures. Your greatest success may be just beyond your most recent failure.
Have a blessed day!
