Good morning from The Garden!

You may have heard  many say that these are the end times.  The End Times began when Jesus left this earthly life and promised to return again.  Yes, these are the end times.  So we must always consider this and be ready when God calls us home, or when He comes again.

But It is still easy to be frightened or worried about the things we read about or hear about in the world around us.

We are not the first to be concerned about the “world.”

The people in the days of Hezekiah felt the same way. Their world was being threatened by the powerful army of Sennacherib, king of Assyria. They were frightened and worried.

Hezekiah faced the threat, organized his leaders, and encouraged his people with these words:

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged because of the king of Assyria and the vast army with him, for THERE IS A GREATER POWER WITH US THAN WITH HIM.” 2 Chronicles 32:7.

Hezekiah could confidently encourage his men because he had no doubt about where he stood with God the Father.

We can be confident that the battles we face can be won with God’s strength within us.

“Greater is HE that is in You, than he that is in the world.” 1 John 4:4.

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
