Good morning from The Garden!

“Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, YET I WILL REJOICE IN THE LORD, I WILL BE JOYFUL IN GOD MY SAVIOR.” Habakkuk 3:17-18.

“Rejoice in the Lord always, again I say rejoice…..”  Philippians 4:4.

Both Habakkuk (Old Testament prophet) and Paul (New Testament missionary)  knew that even in the hardest times, they would rejoice in God the Savior. Their feelings and commitment were not determined by the events around them, but by their faith in the One who can truly save.

When absolutely nothing makes sense, and your troubles seem more than you can bear, take your eyes off of your difficulties and look to God. Remember that God gives strength and courage and that nothing can separate you from His love.

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
