Do you believe in a personal relationship with Christ? I certainly hope that you do.
But that personal acceptance is where it begins, not where it ends.
“But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.” 1 Peter 3:15.
A personal faith does not mean you are to keep it only unto yourself? You are to be ready to share your faith with those around you.
It is true that we should not be obnoxious in sharing our faith, but we should always be ready to give an answer, gently and respectfully, when asked about our faith, our lifestyle, or our Christian perspective.
In our daily lives we must let others see Christ in our actions and in our speech. We must simply and directly tell others what Christ has done in our lives.
We must say to ourselves every day: “This is my witness! This is my ministry——to set apart Christ as Lord.”
Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
