Good morning from The Garden!

When the angel came unto Mary to tell her the miraculous news, she was “troubled.” In other words she was afraid. This is the reaction any one would have revealed. Then the angel said to Mary, “Fear not, Mary, for thou hast found favor with God.” Luke 1:30.

As the angel continues to tell Mary God’s plan for her life, Mary’s heart opens up and her fear subsides. “And Mary said, ‘Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word.’ And the angel departed from her.” Luke 1:38.

Mary lived her young life in God’s favor and when the time came for her to face the greatest challenge of her life, she was ready and could say, “Be it unto me,” which simply means “Thy will be done.”

When we serve God faithfully every day, this can be our response–“Be it unto me.”

We can open our hearts and be ready do serve God whenever and wherever He leads us.

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
