Do you struggle with a decision that you need to make? Do you ever feel confused about what you should do? God doesn’t intend for you to live in that gray area of right and wrong.
“For the Lord gives wisdom, and from His mouth come knowledge and understanding—- Discretion will protect you, and understanding will guard you.” Proverbs 2:6,11.
Discretion is the ability to tell right from wrong. It enables the believer to evaluate courses of action and to think about the consequences before acting.
God gives you wisdom to honor Him. He does not wish for you to drift through life acting irresponsibly with His gifts and resources.
If you are faithful and keep God’s purpose in life clearly in mind, He will keep you from a prideful heart–a heart that feels you alone are in control.
You gain wisdom through a constant process of growing. It is developed by using God’s truth to make wise choices day by day.
I pray that you can take the steps to develop God’s wisdom in your life daily, then the decisions that you make will be directed by a God who loves you and wants the best for you.
