I love the lighted Christmas garland on my mantle. It lifts my spirits and brings a soft glow to my den. But one morning I noticed that only half the string was lighted. This ruined the entire picture.
It made me realize that one bulb or part of a string makes a difference. They all need to be working together to make the light effective. This is true of all Christians.
“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your father who is in heaven.” Matthew 5:16.
You are important in the eyes of Christ. Your are the light that makes all others shine. Your works, your prayers, your actions, and your love change the lives of all those around you.
Never depend on someone else to keep the lights burning. You make all the difference.
Be a single light that keeps all the others shining.
Merry Christmas and have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
