Good morning from The Garden!
“Out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.” Genesis 2:9(KJV)
“And the Lord God commanded the man, ‘You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die.’ ” Genesis 2:16,17.
God provided a world of plenty for Adam. He placed a paradise before him. God even provided a help-mate for him because he knew he would be lonely—–Let’s just say—– He had it all.
God chose not to physically prevent Adam from eating of the fruit of the forbidden tree, because in His Divine plan, He wanted all mankind to be free to choose Him.
Because you are able to make choices, you may often make the wrong ones. Adam certainly made the wrong choice. God still watched over Adam and loved him, but Adam had to live with the consequences of his wrong choice.
Wrong choices can cause pain and consequences, but they can help you learn and grow and can help you make better choices in the future.
Have a blessed day!
