As you read the book of Daniel, you will see that Daniel’s visions give a glimpse of God’s plan for all ages, including the coming of the Messiah.
Daniel asks questions concerning these prophecies: “How long will it be before these astonishing things are fulfilled? Daniel 12:6. “My Lord, what will the outcome of all this be?” verse 8. Maybe the same questions you ask daily.
God responds to Daniel the same way He responds to us today. Live your life; know that I am in charge; know that all things will come to pass in My time.
“Go your way, Daniel, because the words are closed up and sealed until the time of the end——As for you, go your way till the end. You will rest, and then at the end of the days you will rise to receive your allotted inheritance.” Daniel 12:9,13.
Daniel continued to serve God and spent his entire lifetime advising his captors through God’s prophecy.
Faithfulness to God has a rich reward, not necessarily in this life, but most certainly in the life to come.
