Which road do you take? What will you have for dinner? Who will you marry? What church will you attend?———–Will you even attend church this week?
Choices–everywhere you go, you have to make choices.
“Choose you this day whom you will serve, but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:15,16.
After the Israelites had possessed and settled in the Land of Canaan, Joshua made it clear that a choice must be made. The people had to decide whether they would obey the Lord, who had proven He was trustworthy, or obey the local gods which were man-made idols.
Joshua chose to serve God, regardless of what others might say or do.
By taking a stand, he showed others his spiritual leadership and the strength of his commitment to serving God. His choice made a difference in his life and in the lives of others. Like Joshua, only you can decide who or what controls you. You can make the right choice now and reaffirm this decision every day for the rest of your life.
The choice is yours!!
Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
