Who’s your ONE? Our church has begun a mission for each member to reach ONE person for Christ. This began as an idea God placed on the heart of our pastor. It is simply challenging us to share the message of Christ with others. We never know who needs the heart of Christ in their lives, and we need to challenge ourselves to be who God wants us to be.
“I pray that you may be active in sharing your faith, so that you will have a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ…” Philemon 1:6.
The people of Israel wandered many long years in the desert because of their lack of faith in God’s ability to care for them. They placed their trust in that which they could see and touch and turned their eyes away from God.
In the book of Hebrews we find a warning to prevent us from doing the same thing—turn our eyes from God and toward the enticing world around us, instead of seeing the lost that are right before us.
“Today if you hear God’s voice speaking to you, do not harden your hearts against him, as the people of Israel did when they rebelled against him in the desert.” Hebrews 3:15.
“Speak to each other about these things every day while there is still time, so that none of you will become hardened against God, being blinded by the glamor of sin.” Hebrews 3:13.
We must live today by learning from the past, by placing our future in God’s hands. and by witnessing to others now in the present.
We will grow as Christians, and others will be blessed as we share His love One person at a time each day. —— Who’s your ONE?
Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
