Good morning from The Garden!

Have you ever laughed so hard at something you are about to say that you can’t say it?  I have and it makes me feel soooooo good!

I think God has a wonderful sense of humor. I imagine that He sometimes just wants to tell us to “lighten up” and not be so serious.

“Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness: come before His presence with singing.” Psalm 100

God is the one that urges us to “Make a joyful noise unto the Lord.” We usually take this to mean: “Sing, even if it is off key.” But don’t you think the most probable “joyful noise” is laughter.

Charles Swindoll puts it this way, “Some folks say they believe in laughter, while their faces look like they just buried a rich uncle who willed his entire estate to a pregnant guinea pig.”

There is a lot of truth to that comical statement.

Laughter is contagious! Even when life is no laughing matter, God wants us to hear the laughter around us, count our blessings, and lighten up.

We look better and feel better when we laugh. Remember Proverbs 17:22 tells us that “Laughter doeth good like a medicine.” I hope you have a big ole dose today!

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
