Good morning from The Garden!

There is an old Southern expression, “I’ll be there if the Lord’s willin’ and the creek don’t rise.”

This bit of Southern wisdom is more Biblical that you might realize.

For that you ought to say ‘If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that…..’ ” James 4:15.

Too much expected planning can rob us of the joy of living moment by moment in God’s will.

To make plans is not a sin, but to do so without realizing that they are “subject to change” is forgetting that you belong to God.

God wants to be included in all your plans—present and future.

So if the Lord’s willin’ and the creek don’t rise, I’ll be right here with you tomorrow in The Garden!

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
