Good morning from The Garden!

There are two ways of looking at your life.  Number 1 is self-centered and looking our for whatever makes you look better.  Number 2 is God-centered—-what God can do through you.

In the book of beginnings these two attitudes are noticed.

First--In the story of the Tower of Babel in Genesis 11 you can find—-We-Me- Us-Ourselves-with no mention of God’s purpose for them……

“Now the whole world had one language and a common speech.  They said to each other, ‘Come, let us make bricks and bake them………then they said, ‘Come let us build ourselves a city………….so that we can make a name for ourselves……‘ “

Their mission failed and God scattered them and mixed up their languages.

Second—In the very next chapter the mission changes to God’s plan and God says, “I will.

“The Lord said to Abram, ‘……..I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.  I will bless those who bless you and and whoever curses you I will curse; and all the earth will be blessed through you…’ ”  Genesis 12.

God has a plan that stretches from Abraham to To Christ Jesus——-a plan for all to be saved for eternal life.

Will you be a part of God’s plan?  “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.  In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path.”  Proverbs 3:5.

Trust God and let Him lead.

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
