Good morning from The Garden!

—do your neighbor no wrong—” Psalm 15:3.

Who is my neighbor?

This is the question that the Pharisee asked Jesus. Jesus answered with the parable of The good Samaritan:

In this story (Luke 10:27-37-Read this passage and remember) Jesus reminds the Pharisee of the Old Testament law “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength –.” Deuteronomy 6:5 and “Love your neighbor as yourself—“ Leviticus 19:16.

When asked about the greatest commandment, Jesus replied, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind, and with all your strength……….and love your neighbor as yourself.” Mark 12: 30-31.

No one wants to be mistreated by word or deed. So we are simply reminded here to treat others the way we want to be treated. This is a simple principle that can become complex when we fail to put another’s feelings front and foremost before we speak or act.

We can live a godly life by thinking before we act, so that we will never intentionally do something that will hurt another.

do your neighbor no wrong—“

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
