“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth-–” Genesis 1:1.
Almost every ancient religion has an opinion of how this was done. Every different scientist has an opinion on the origin of the universe. But only the Bible shows one Supreme Being creating it all.
The word created accents the fact that something had never existed before. Man can discover things that already exist but have never been used in a certain way or for a certain purpose.
Only God can create something out of nothing. We do not know how God did this mighty act. All we know is that the Bible states that HE DID IT.
God created the earth and gave mankind a special place in its creation.
God is the creator, so all else is His creation. This fact alone gives worth and dignity to all people. AND JUST HOW DO I KNOW THIS?—- THE BIBLE TELLS ME SO!
