Paul’s prayer for the Christians in Philippi was that they would grow in the knowledge of Christ, and that they would be able to make the right decisions that would bring them closer to Christ and to each other.
“And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ.” Philippians 1:9-10.
Often the very best influence you can have on others is to pray for them.
As you pray for others, they can feel His presence through you. When you pray, God’s love surrounds you and helps you to walk close to Christ, the One who loves you the most.
This is my prayer today: Dear Lord, Let us feel Your presence, as we pray for one another. Amen
