Good morning from The Garden!

We find in Proverbs 17:22, “Laughter doeth good like a medicine.

In Ecclesiastes 7:3 we read, “Sorrow is better than laughter, because a sad face is food for the heart.”

This seems very contradictory, but it should help us realize that life is a mixture of both happy and sad times. Both are equally a part of who we are.

We can’t go thorough life expecting never to have sorrow or suffering, but instead we should see our struggles as opportunities to grow in God’s grace.

We often learn more from God through difficult times than through good times—maybe because we then take time to be better listeners.

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
