“Jesus loves me this I know–-for the Bible tells me so……” Most every child learns this song early. This song is packed with a spiritual message that is the answer to every theological question.
We all are sinners.. How do I know?—-The Bible tells me so. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God….” Romans 2:23.
Jesus took my sins to the cross….How do I know? The Bible tells me so. “….while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us..”
I have peace and comfort in Jesus. How do I know? The Bible tells me so. “Peace I give you; my peace I give unto you; let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid...”
I know that the moment I leave this world, I will be in the arms of Jesus. How do I know? The Bible tells me so.—“to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord….” 2 Corinthians 5:8
Jesus is the one true way to heaven…How do I know? The Bible tells me so. “Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes unto the Father but by Me...” John 14:6.
I should go to church and worship with other believers as we encourage one another. How do I know? The Bible tells me so—–.“Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another–and all the more as you see The Day approaching.” Hebrews 10:25.
The Bible is the true Word of God. How do I know? The Bible tells me so. “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. 2 Timothy 3:16.
JESUS LOVES ME THIS I KNOW———FOR THE BIBLE TELLS ME SO.
“For God so loved the world……” John 3:16a.
The Holy Scriptures never change. We live by them; we are guided by them; we are blessed by them; and we will die by them. No one will ever change the Word of God.
Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
