I am watching the series THE CHOSEN for the 4th time. But this time is different. I am watching it and then discussing each episode with a group of ladies in my church and community. We all seem to catch something different from many of the scenes. As we discuss the episode, we share our feelings.
” ‘You are my witnesses,’ declares the Lord. ‘and my servant whom I have CHOSEN, so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am He.’ ” Isaiah 43:10.
Something really big happens when you accept Christ into your heart—you become one of His people.
Being one of His people carries with it a responsibility to let others see Him through you.
No One can see God directly, but they can see Him reflected in you.
Lord, help us all to show others a clear picture of who You are. It seems strange that watching a TV series can bring us closer to you, but that’s exactly what is happening. I pray we can see ourselves as the CHOSEN and share our faith every day.
