My phone rang in the middle of the night last night. The man on the other end of the line said, “This is Steve with Vivant. Are you all right, Ma’am?
I said, “I guess so, I’m sleeping.”
After he went through the routine–name, code, etc. he answered, “Your alarm is going off from your sun room door. Do I need to call authorities?”
He then stayed on the phone until I checked everything out. I then told him, “All seems good, and he hung up.
I never once thought that someone had opened the door. I was not afraid. I had faced my fear head on and conquered it.
Our faith in a loving God enables us to face all the fears that may creep into our lives.
As the scripture states:
“When you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet—-for the Lord will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being snared.” Proverbs 3:24, 26.
Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
