In a rural area in Southern California there is a 4-foot placard that reads “Need Prayer? Stop Here!”
Here at this spot a young man offers Drive-Thru Prayer to anyone who needs it and stops.
He testifies that many people are hurting and need instant prayer on the spot. He talks with them, prays with them, and reads scripture.
This is his way of reaching out to those around him. We all need to reach out from the church doors, from our homes, from our work place and comfort others as God has comforted us.
“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows.” 2 Corinthians 1:3-5.
