Good morning from The Garden!

I pull open the kitchen drawer that contains all my dish cloths.  The drawer is stubborn and doesn’t want to open easily. Why? Because it is full. Sooo I pull out the ones that are stained and a little ragged and keep in the drawer the good ones. Now my drawer is still full, but every cloth in it is good.   

In Philippians 4, The Apostle Paul gives good advice to all of us about being full.

Right after the familiar verse that tells you “not to worry, but in everything give thanks…....,”  you will find these words…..

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable–if anything is excellent or praiseworthy,—think on these things.  Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.”.  Philippians 4:6-9. 

Just like that trusted dish cloth drawer, when your mind is full of good things, there is not room for the bad.  THINK ON THESE THINGS.
