Today I choose JOY.
“This day is sacred to our Lord. Do not be discouraged, for the JOY of the Lord is your strength.” Nehemiah 8:10.
Nehemiah was a man of action. He left his responsible position with the Persian government to return to Jerusalem. He found the people whining and complaining about their situation. He went to work, organizing the people to rebuild the temple.
His positive attitude made the difference.
“You have made known to me the path; You will fill me with JOY in Your presence; at Thy right hand are eternal pleasures.” Psalm 16:11.
He chose JOY.
