Did you know that birthdays are very good for you?—The more you have, the longer you will live.
“Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity–-” Ephesians 5:15
We are instructed to keep our standards high, act wisely, and do good at every opportunity. We can do this by relying on God to give us strength.
“He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak….but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Isaiah 40:29-31.
So as each birthday comes around say: “Thank you, Lord…I am blessed!”
