Good morning from The Garden!

There was a time when the commercials were likeable, funny, even memorable  I would tell my children that the commercial break was my favorite part of the show.  One commercial I remember showed a little talking figure standing by a milk cartoon. This little figure tells the man standing nearby, “So let me get this straight. You won’t try it because you think you are not going to like it?

Then the man stands there for a moment and then reluctantly takes a sip. He then replies, “Ummmm, that’s really good!

The little figure looks up and says, “Funny how that works sometimes.”

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths.” Proverbs 3:5.

Trust means putting your whole weight on or leaning completely on something or someone. When you lean on the Lord, you can then surpass your own understanding which will never hold you up.

Why don’t you trust in the Lord in all things? Are you afraid of giving up the control of your own life? Are you afraid you will not like it?

The Lord is faithful always. He can be trusted always. He will direct your journey always.

You just have to take that first sip of total trust. If you try it, you will like it. May God be with you today and always as you trust Him.

Have blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
