Good morning from The Garden!

We are forever in debt to Christ for His sacrificial love for us. The only way we can ever repay Him is by loving and protecting others in return.

The apostle Paul reminds us of the connection between the Ten Commandments and our debt to Christ.

Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for he who loves his fellowman has fulfilled the law. The commandments, ‘Do not commit adultery,’ ‘Do not murder,’ ‘Do not steal,’ ‘Do not covet,’ and whatever other commandment there may be, are summed up in this one rule: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no harm to its neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.” Romans 13:8-10.

Christ’s love will always be greater than ours, so we will always have the obligation to love our neighbors as ourselves. When we do, we will keep His Commandments.

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
