I am basically an independent person, but I have lived a different life for the last five weeks. I have had to depend on others for everything—-I mean everything. The hospital and Re-Hab facilities have provided me with people to help me with everything I need.
Some see the task as their work, others see it as their ministry. I see their kindness as Jesus working through them.
“When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him,—-He will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance—-for I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.‘ ” Matthew 25:31a,34,35,36,
You will respond by saying, “When did I do all this? When did I see you, Lord?”
And the answer will be: “I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.” Matthew 25:40.
Continue in His good works and in His love. I am forever grateful.
Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
