Good morning from The Garden!

As I listened to an online service one Sunday, the words spoken by the pastor really stayed with me.  “Everybody spends eternity somewhere.  We all live forever.”

As Christians we speak a lot about eternal life with Christ.  We face whatever life brings us because we know that this world is not all there is—that God has a greater plan.

But what about those who chose not to believe in Christ–“I am the way, the truth, and the life.  No one comes unto the Father except through me.”  John 13:6.  What is their destiny?

Eternal life is not something that unbelievers ever think about. But it is a reality.

He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.  They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the majesty of His Power on the day He comes to be glorified in His Holy people and to be marveled at among all those who have believed.”  2 Thessalonians 1:8-10.

The thought of anyone spending eternity without God in eternal punishment should make us all evangelists.  We all should feel the deep desire to see that everyone believes in Christ, the One and Only Son of God.

Salvation is personal, but it is never private.  Let us share His gospel with someone today.

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
