Good morning from The Garden!

Did you know that the Bible teaches us that it is all right to cry? Paul the Apostle wrote “Rejoice with those who rejoice; weep with those who weep.” Romans 12:15.

We often unconsciously hold our emotions inside and use valuable strength and energy that we need for other things. The longer we hold these emotions inside the less energy and strength remains.

Someone has compared holding back our emotions to holding a beach ball under the water. If you have ever tried this, you know that the ball fights to surface, and it takes great strength and energy to keep the ball down. The only relief you can find is to finally allow the ball to rise to the surface.

Sometimes it feels good to just let the emotions that God gave us come to the surface. As we share our feelings, joy is multiplied, and sorrow is cut in half.

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
