Good morning from The Garden!

“Flee the evil desires of youth, and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.” 2 Timothy 2: 22.

Be careful that you do not linger too long when faced with the temptation to do what you know to be
wrong—–flee. When Joseph was enticed by the wife of his master, he fled from the temptation. Genesis 39:12, “……. he ran out of the house.”

Because of his decisive action God was able to use Joseph in a very special way. God wants to use you to accomplish His purpose. Do not give in to the temptation that will keep you from being the vessel God wants you to be.

But notice the second action verb in this scripture—pursue. You have to replace the temptation or the bad habit with something good.  Then God can use you in a special way.

Have a blessed day!                                                                                                                                                           In Christian love,                                                                                                                                                              Diane
