Good morning from The Garden!

I drove to my friends’ house yesterday to deliver some of my books.  I had passed by their house hundreds of times but had never driven around to the front.  As I approached the house, I took in the scene.  I noticed the beautiful yard, the house, the pond in the back and was just basically observing something that was nice.  I pulled in the drive and started to open my car door and I heard someone say, “Did you even see me!”   I looked up and there the husband was, standing beside the jeep in the driveway—right at my car window.

I was too busy looking at all the extras, that I didn’t see what was closest to me.

We may know about Easter and why we celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus; we may know all about His time on the cross and about the empty tomb.  We may even cling to the fact that He lives today and waits to welcome us into His Eternal Kingdom.

But sometimes we see the whole picture, but we don’t really look at Jesus directly.  We fail to see Him and what He wants to do in our lives personally everyday.

It is important to know ABOUT Jesus, but Jesus want us to KNOW HIM.

Look closely and see HIM in your life.

Have a GOOD FRIDAY and a blessed Easter weekend!

“…..He has risen as He said.” Luke 24:6.

In Christian love,
Diane
