Good morning from The Garden!

“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” Psalm 23:6.

Notice the first word of this passage “Surely.” The Psalmist didn’t say, “Maybe” or “Possibly” or “I have a hunch” that goodness and mercy will follow me. He said I am sure this is the result. He believed in a God of kept promises.

We may change. Our moods may shift. Our direction may falter, but God remains the same.

Many years after the Psalmist expressed his faith, the Apostle Paul reinforced this same message: “If we are faithless, He will remain faithful. He cannot betray Himself.” 2 Timothy 2:13.

We believe in a SURE God who promises us a SURE future.

Have a blessed day! In Christian love, Diane
