Good morning from The Garden!

During the recent ice storm we were blessed to have a generator at our home.  I had never had need of it before then and often wondered if It was a necessary expense.  Well, after three days of no electricity, I was thrilled that I had it.  The only problem was that I had to go outside on several occasions to flip a switch because the breaker had thrown.

The area around my house was completely iced over and the path to the generator was dangerous.  But I was careful and placed each step securely.  This simple short trip took great consideration and planning.

Life’s journey should also take thoughtful consideration and careful planning.

“If the Lord delights in a man’s way, he makes his steps firm; though he stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand.”

To be the person in whom God delights you must follow God, trust Him, and try to do His will. Then God will watch over you and make firm every step that you take.

The road may be slippery, and at times the journey may be long, but when you slip or take a wrong turn, the Lord is holding your hand to pick you up or bring you back.

If God leads the way, the path is steady and firm. Ask God for guidance before you step out.

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
