The other day a young man came and worked on my satellite service, and before he left, he asked that I give him the mark of extremely good because his job depended on this mark.
Those speaking with you on the phone always ask at the end, “How did I do?” Then the survey comes. Again, please mark excellent!
A runner always runs against the time clock. He may not ever be as fast as the fastest runner, but his goal is to beat his own best time each time he runs. When he does this, he is a winner. He has done his best.
What mark do you desire when you stand before the Master? Jesus wants your very best.
“For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Ephesians 2:10.
You are created to do your best. When you do, Christ gives you that A+ and says, “Well done thou good and faithful servant.”
“Always give yourself fully to the Lord, for your work is not in vain.” 1 Corinthians 15:58.
