Genesis 1:31.

Good morning from The Garden!

Don’t miss it.  It will be only about 38 million miles away.  The opportunity for viewing will not be this good again until 2035!  It is called Mars, the red planet, and it will be in the southern skies around midnight, tonight October 6th.

How does anyone know this?  How does anyone predict this?   We may not know how they predict this, but many intend to view this possibly once in a lifetime moment.

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth……”  He created the stars and placed them in the skies just where He wanted them.  He spoke them into existence.

Any other time Mars is just another star, mixed in with all others that we see every night.

“…God made two great lights–the greater light to govern the day, and the lesser light to govern the night.  He also made the stars. God set them in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth, to govern the day and the night and to separate light from darkness.  And God saw that it was good….”  Genesis 1:14, 16-18.

This beautiful night sky was planned by God just as all creation was designed and brought into existense.  I pray that we will never look into to night sky and take for granted the wonder that God placed before us.

“And God saw all that He had made , and it was VERY good.  And there was evening and there was morning—the sixth day.”  Genesis 1:31.

God had a plan for the universe and He has a plan for you.  Follow His light and He will guide you the entire way.

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
