“Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much—-So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches? And if you have not been trustworthy with someone else’s property, who will give you property of your own?” Luke 16:10-12.
Since happiness is the most lasting kind of wealth, let’s paraphrase these verses thinking in terms of happiness, not material wealth:
“Whoever finds true happiness when he has very little can also find happiness when he has much.  If you are not happy with what you have been given here in this world, then how can you be trusted to share with others the happiness of eternal life?
And if you are not able to be happy for someone else and what he/she achieves or possesses, then you will never find happiness within yourself.”
God simply tells us to grow where we are planted right now and trust Him to do the rest.
Have blessed day!
