“For with God nothing is impossible.” Luke 1:37.
After the angel Gabriel appeared to Mary and told her that she had been chosen as the Mother of Jesus, Mary said to the angel: “How can this be since I have known not a man?” Luke 1:34.
Doubt? Mary expressed this doubt, openly and honestly!
But through the doubt, Mary expressed her faith and willingly accepted her role. “I am the Lord’s servant. May it be to me as you have said.” Luke 1:38.
When you are frightened by a situation, when you do not think you can make it through, when you cannot see the solution or even the possibility of a solution, you must cling to God’s promise and remember the words of the angel Gabriel: “For with God nothing is impossible! “
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding…..” Proverbs 3:5.
