Have you ever read on the box: “Some assembly required“?—my biggest nightmare.
Instructions are always included but i usually read them only after exhausting every effort in “self-ability.”
You will find specific instructions on how to please God in Micah 6:8, “He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”
You have tried on your own many different ways to please God, but God has made his wishes clear.
He wants you to be fair in dealing with others; to show mercy when someone wrongs you, and to show humility in every aspect of your life.
It helps to read the instructions first.
