Good morning from The Garden!

Where we are wrong, make us willing to change; and where we are right, make us easy to live with.” (from Peter Marshall’s one-minute prayer)

Every once in a while we all need a self-examination. In this examination we compare ourselves to the perfection of Christ, not to others who, in their imperfection, consider themselves perfect.

We shouldn’t worry about what others accomplish, instead, we must constantly ask how our lives measure up to what God wants.

When we prop the measuring tape up against God’s standards, we can see how far we can still grow.  We will have no reason to feel a boastful pride.

We, however, will not boast beyond proper limits, but will confine our boasting to the field God has assigned to us.” 2 Corinthians 10:13.

We must constantly think of how our lives accomplish what God desires. It’s always a growth pattern—always moving up.

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
