“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings of eagles; they shall run and not grow weary, they shall walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31.
Have you noticed the ease with which an eagle can soar high in the sky? His wingspread is wide and his flying seems effortless.
Soaring through life can seem just as graceful when you cast your worries on the Lord.
Hoping in the Lord is expecting that His promise of strength will help you rise above life’s distractions and difficulties.
God’s timing is often not your timing, but when you wait on the Lord, you will find new strength to face the trials or pressures that confront you every day.
This verse is a comforting promise from God, revealed through His prophet Isaiah.
Claim it and live by it.
Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
