There is a heavy door on the large shed at our farm. I cannot raise this door no matter how hard I try. I grasp; I pull; I lift; I struggle!! It will not roll up. Then I notice a chain on the side of the door. This chain has been there all along. I pull with ease on the chain and suddenly the door rises with ease. I just needed help beyond my own strength.
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13
When we say, “I can’t do this!” Jesus says, “Of course, you can’t, …..but I can.“
His strength becomes our strength and enables us to open the door to all things within His will.
