We have often heard the remark that “confession is good for the soul.” Well, God knew this long before it became a modern expression.
Romans 10:8-10: “But what does it say? ‘The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,’ That is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: That if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with the HEART that you believe and are justified, and it is with your MOUTH that you confess and are saved.”
Salvation is not complicated. It is as close as your heart and your mouth. If you have accepted this blessing of salvation, mark this special milestone in your life, but grow in His grace so that you will enhance the journey of those around you.
