“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlaughing life.” John 3:16.
The little girl proudly quoted this verse and it seems that she made a mistake. But maybe not…..without laughter, life is hard; it is gloomy; it is sometimes “just there!”
God never wanted us to have life without laughter. It lightens the heart and prepares it to welcome each day. It is the door that opens all that God is……
“…….she can laugh at the days to come…..” Proverbs 31:25
….”Our mouths were filled with laughter….” Psalm 126:2.
“…Even in laughter the heart may ache….” Proverbs 14:13.
“…a cheerful heart (laughter) is good medicine….” Proverbs 17:22.
“…. a time to weep and a time to laugh….” Ecclesiastes 3:4.
As we live life to the fullest in God’s plan, let us look toward everlasting life as we enjoy an everlaughing life each day.
In other words…….Don’t be so serious……enjoy the day and don’t leave out the laughter!
