Good morning from The Garden!

I read this verse and it made me smile. I know when I read the word “brother,” it means mankind, or brothers in the Lord.

But just for today, I read the word “brothers” and thought “siblings.”

“How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together In unity.” Psalm 133:1

I thought of young children playing in the back yard with their brothers or sisters; I thought about a sister, watching the brother’s choice of move and actually enjoying it through his eyes. I thought about the basketball game in the yard when both could not possibly win. I thought about a brother protecting his sister when he thought she had been mistreated; I thought of sound sisterly advice given to the younger brother at just the right time in his life; I thought about family time as they grow older and share their lives and their memories—-These scenes flashed through my mind and I smiled.

How good and pleasant it is indeed!! I know God smiles also!

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
